candidate — artist information

A Candidate set feels like unearthing a dusty, distorted memory from a basement show that never ended. Jagged synth loops pierce through the raw, abrasive grit of 90s-inspired screamo, creating a claustrophobic tension that vibrates in your chest. The room swells with a fragile, jagged urgency, oscillating between icy minimal pulses and cathartic, throat-shredding emotional outbursts. Watching the crowd, you see people pressed against the monitors, suspended in that uncomfortable, beautiful space where vulnerability meets total sonic collapse. It is haunting, intimate, and punishingly honest.

Genres: emo, screamo, minimal synth, 90s emo.
