1. About Gigvault

Gigvault is a community-driven platform for archiving and reliving live music experiences. We provide tools to track concerts you've attended, discover upcoming shows, connect with fellow music fans, and preserve your musical memories.

By using Gigvault, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

2. Eligibility

To use Gigvault, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Provide accurate information during registration
  • Have a valid email address
  • Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy

If you're using Gigvault on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
  • Keeping your email address up to date

You may not share your account or use another person's account without permission.

4. User-Generated Content

You may submit content to Gigvault, including:

  • Profile information and photos
  • Concert notes and ratings
  • Concert photos and media
  • Event submissions (if approved)
  • Messages to other users

Your rights: You retain ownership of content you create. By posting content, you grant Gigvault a license to display, store, and share it as necessary to operate the service.

Your responsibilities: You must ensure you have the right to share any content you post and that it doesn't violate others' rights or our guidelines.

5. Community Guidelines

Gigvault is built on respect for the music community. You agree to:

  • Treat other users with respect
  • Share accurate information about events and experiences
  • Respect venue and artist policies regarding photos and recordings
  • Only share content you have permission to share
  • Report inappropriate content or behavior

6. Event Creation

Event creation is a privilege granted to approved users. If you're approved to create events:

  • Submit only accurate, verified event information
  • Do not submit duplicate events
  • Do not submit events for promotional purposes
  • Accept that events are subject to moderation and may be edited or removed

We may revoke event creation privileges if these guidelines are not followed.

7. Prohibited Behavior

You may not:

  • Harass, bully, or threaten other users
  • Post spam, advertisements, or promotional content
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
  • Share illegal content or promote illegal activities
  • Attempt to access others' accounts or private data
  • Use automated tools to scrape or collect data
  • Circumvent security measures or rate limits
  • Use Gigvault for ticket scalping, resale, or price tracking
  • Post affiliate links or monetized content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

8. Intellectual Property

Gigvault and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Gigvault and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Artist names, venue names, and event information may be trademarks of their respective owners.

9. Third-Party Services

Gigvault may integrate with third-party services (such as Bandsintown, Setlist.fm, or Ticketmaster) to provide event information. We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party data or the terms of those services.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms or Community Guidelines
  • Engage in prohibited behavior
  • Create risk or legal exposure for Gigvault
  • Have an inactive account for an extended period

You may delete your account at any time through Settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed according to our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Gigvault is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Event information is completely accurate or up-to-date
  • The service will meet your specific requirements

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gigvault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Gigvault (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gigvault and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Your continued use of Gigvault after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the applicable member state where Gigvault is established. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where consumer protection laws require otherwise.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
