Contention — artist information
Contention's live show is a bludgeoning sonic assault, a straight-edge sermon delivered through a wall of blistering riffs and concussive drums. The air crackles with an almost militant precision as their Norwegian hardcore sensibility carves out a ruthless, unforgiving sound. This isn't just music; it's a visceral, full-body experience that whips the crowd into a seething, unified mass, a pit-fueled catharsis where every breakdown hits with the force of a concrete slab. You don't just listen to Contention; you survive it.
Genres: metalcore, straight edge, hardcore.
