Shields — artist information
Shields turns the stage into a pressurized kinetic chamber where jagged, syncopated djent rhythms collide with raw, dissonant metalcore aggression. The sound hits the chest like a pneumatic drill, layering intricate prog-metal technicality beneath a crushing wall of feedback and guttural intensity. In the humid haze of the Gräfenhainichen night, the crowd becomes a singular, heaving mass, caught in the friction of unpredictable time signatures and explosive, atmospheric crescendos. Every breakdown lands with tectonic finality, leaving the air humming long after the final note dissolves into feedback.
Genres: metalcore, progressive metalcore, djent.
