The Blind Boys of Alabama — artist information

The stage becomes a sanctuary the moment the first harmonized chords ripple through the air, layering visceral soul over the steady, rhythmic pulse of the blues. Their performance isn’t merely a setlist; it is a profound, kinetic exchange where gravity-defying vocal swells pull the entire room into a shared state of reverence. Bodies sway in a trance, caught between the stomp of folk-hewn percussion and the soaring, unbridled power of gospel testimony. Every note lands with the weight of raw experience, turning a simple venue into a cathedral of pure, transcendent sound.

Genres: gospel, blues, soul, folk.
