the Excess — artist information
The Excess carves out a jagged, kinetic space in the room, turning tight Ingolstadt venues into pressurized chambers of raw distortion. Their sound is a relentless serrated edge, cutting through the air with a percussive intensity that demands total physical surrender from the small, cult-like clusters of fans in attendance. It feels less like a performance and more like a high-voltage conduit, vibrating the floorboards until the room hums in unison with their feedback-drenched chaos. You don't just hear the wall of noise; you inhabit it.
