The House Band — artist information
The House Band transforms a stage into a whirling vortex of traditional textures, layering intricate fiddle runs against the earthy, percussive pulse of a driving rhythm section. Their live performances feel like a communal bonfire, where the frantic energy of a Scottish reel bleeds seamlessly into the haunting, spacious arrangements of world-folk melancholy. Within the humid, crowded air of an Edmonton venue, the music acts as a kinetic force, pulling the audience into a trance of rapid-fire string work and soaring, atmospheric melodies. It is raw, unvarnished acoustic alchemy that demands you keep pace with every shifting beat.
Genres: celtic, folk, irish, world, Scottish.
