Mannried Open Air — Festival information

Tucked away in the rustic tranquility of Mannried, Switzerland, the Mannried Open Air serves as a high-octane sanctuary for those who prefer their music served with distorted riffs and relentless percussive force. The festival cuts through the alpine silence with a razor-sharp curation of hard rock and heavy metal, pitting titans like Axxis and Crossplane against the raw, visceral energy of emerging acts like Comaniac and Constraint. Here, the typical pastoral scenery is eclipsed by a sprawling sea of black denim and raised fists, creating a community-driven atmosphere that feels both intimate and thunderously powerful. It is a rare collision of Swiss precision and unbridled sonic aggression, proving that the quiet corners of the countryside are exactly where the heaviest sounds thrive. For the devoted headbanger, this festival isn’t just a weekend in the dirt—it is an essential pilgrimage into the heart of the European metal underground.
