Skogsröjet Festival — Festival information

Tucked deep into the mossy heart of the Östergötland forests, Skogsröjet Festival transforms the quiet village of Rejmyre into a high-octane sanctuary for hard rock and melodic metal devotees. Here, the barrier between the towering pines and the pyrotechnics dissolves, creating an intimate, communal atmosphere that feels far removed from the sterile, sprawling nature of massive urban festivals. You’ll find a dedicated congregation of leather-clad regulars and international pilgrims headbanging under the Swedish summer twilight to a mix of legendary genre titans and punchy, rising acts. It is a rare spectacle where the roar of guitars harmonizes with the stillness of the Swedish wilderness, proving that true metal spirit thrives best in the shadows of the trees. For those seeking an authentic, fan-first experience that prioritizes grit and pure musical passion, this woodland gathering stands as a cornerstone of Scandinavia’s rock culture.
