Sputnik Spring Break — Festival information
Nestled against the shimmering, industrial-meets-natural backdrop of the Goitzschesee, Sputnik Spring Break serves as the definitive seasonal ignition for Germany’s electronic and hip-hop faithful. The festival trades the stifling heat of mid-summer for a crisp, high-voltage coastal energy, where the shoreline in Pouch transforms into a sprawling, bass-heavy playground. From the anthemic rap flows of Kontra K and Kraftklub to the relentless, euphoric drops provided by Gestört aber GeiL and HBz, the programming creates a relentless pulse that spans from dusk until well past dawn. It is a place where thousands shed the lethargy of winter, congregating on the sandy peninsula to lose themselves in a synchronized frenzy of strobe lights and water-side revelry. More than just a collection of stages, the event functions as a generational rite of passage that defines the sound of the European festival season’s first act.
