Stramu — Festival information
Würzburg’s historic Altstadt transforms into an open-air theater during Stramu, where the cobblestones serve as both stage and heartbeat for a sprawling celebration of street performance. It is a kaleidoscope of artistic expression, weaving together the raw, unpolished energy of buskers like Grise and Aischa with the infectious rhythms of bands like Frollein Motte and Drei Meter Brett. The festival strips away the barriers between performer and audience, turning the city’s medieval architecture into a living, breathing backdrop for spontaneous discovery. Whether you are navigating the intimate intensity of an Anthem’s End set or catching the rhythmic flair of Kicker Dibs, the atmosphere feels inherently communal and brilliantly unpredictable. By prioritizing the human connection of live performance over polished spectacle, Stramu has cemented itself as the cultural pulse of Franconia, proving that the most memorable concerts don't need a stadium—just a street corner and a shared moment.
