Tells Bells Festival — Festival information

Perched atop the verdant slopes of Villmar, Tells Bells Festival transforms a humble German sport field into a high-octane sanctuary for the global punk and hardcore underground. The air here vibrates with the frantic urgency of legends like Agnostic Front and the melodic, rallying cries of Frank Turner, creating a sonic collision that defies the quietude of the surrounding countryside. Fans find themselves locked in a communal sweat-drenched grit, trading stage dives for panoramic views of the Lahn valley in an atmosphere where DIY ethos meets open-air grandeur. It is an unapologetic gathering that strips away the pretension of massive industry festivals, favoring raw, blistering performances that leave the earth beneath the pitch thoroughly scorched. For those who track the pulse of modern rebellion, Tells Bells stands as a crucial, visceral pilgrimage that proves the most enduring music scenes often flourish in the most unexpected corners.
