Alter Schlachthof — Venue information
Deep within the industrial hum of Wels, Alter Schlachthof pulses as a raw, unfiltered cathedral of sound, a defiant echo against the city’s quiet rhythm. Here, the air crackles with the untamed energy of punk, the hypnotic thrum of techno, and the soaring narratives of indie-folk, all under one repurposed roof. Concerts here aren't just spectacles; they're visceral immersions, where concrete walls absorb the collective fervor and every beat reverberates through your bones. This former slaughterhouse, now a vibrant cultural artery, remains the unapologetic heart of Wels' alternative music scene, a testament to its enduring spirit and penchant for sonic rebellion.
