Brutal Assault — Venue information
Carved into the subterranean labyrinth of the Josefov Fortress in Jaroměř, Brutal Assault is a pilgrimage site where extreme music converges with decaying military history. The festival transforms 18th-century stone bastions into a sprawling, multi-stage colosseum where black, death, and grindcore legends command the shadows. Fans navigate damp tunnels and open-air battlements, creating an immersive, claustrophobic intimacy that no traditional stadium show could ever replicate. It stands as a defiant monument to the Czech metal scene, proving that the most visceral performances thrive best within the echoes of ancient stone. For those who seek the raw, unrefined pulse of global underground extreme music, this fortress remains the ultimate altar of sonic intensity.
