P'tit Ours — Venue information
Tucked away like a well-kept secret in the heart of Montreal’s Plateau, P’tit Ours feels less like a traditional venue and more like a fever-dream extension of a local musician’s living room. The room vibrates with a raw, low-fi intimacy where the floorboards seem to breathe along with the folk troubadours and experimental noise projects that frequent its modest stage. Here, the boundary between performer and audience dissolves entirely, creating a communal hush that gives weight to every plucked string and whispered lyric. It serves as a vital pressure valve for the city’s underground, hosting the kind of uncompromising art that wouldn't survive the sterility of larger, corporate-backed clubs. To spend a night here is to witness the city's musical lifeblood in its most unvarnished, authentic form.
