amiina — artist information
Watching Amiina perform feels like stumbling into a glass-walled sanctuary during a gathering storm. Their soundscapes unfurl in fragile, intricate layers, blending rhythmic bowing with the delicate shimmer of glockenspiels to create a haunting, cinematic tension. In a darkened Berlin venue, the audience descends into a collective, hushed trance, leaning in as if to catch the dying embers of a melody. Each note floats with haunting precision, filling the room with the crystalline weight of an Icelandic winter, turning the concert hall into an intimate, ethereal cavern.
Genres: ambient, icelandic, post-rock, instrumental, experimental.
