Aysay — artist information
From the heart of Copenhagen, Aysay unfurls a tapestry woven from Kurdish and Turkish folk traditions, imbued with a distinctly Danish sensibility. Their live performances are an intoxicating swirl of ancient melodies and modern pulse, where driving rhythms meet the melancholic pull of stringed instruments. The air crackles with an energy that’s both deeply personal and universally resonant, drawing the audience into a shared dance of celebration and reflection. Aysay doesn't just play music; they conjure a vibrant, living soundscape that feels both timeless and thrillingly present.
Genres: kurdish, turkish, denmark, folk, danish.
