The Netherlands is a small country with an unreasonable number of good rooms. You can see a stadium act in Amsterdam on Friday and a hardcore band in a converted swimming pool in Eindhoven on Saturday, and by Christmas both have blurred into "that gig in the autumn".
Gigvault holds 247 Dutch shows, the oldest from March 2004, with 68 still to come.

Five venues, five completely different nights. That is the Dutch circuit in one table, and it is also the reason a plain list of dates is useless a few years later: Amsterdam, March could be the Ziggo Dome or the Melkweg, and those are not the same memory.
The Dutch naming trap
Dutch venues rename, merge and share names more than most.
AFAS Live was Heineken Music Hall until 2017 — same building, same room, two names depending on when you were there. 013 appears as 013, Poppodium 013 and 013 Next. And Jopenkerk is a church-turned-brewery in Haarlem, which is nowhere near the Jera On Air site in Ysselsteyn, however similar the listings look.
Gigvault resolves these to one venue each, so a night at the Heineken Music Hall in 2014 and a night at AFAS Live in 2024 land on the same venue page — which is correct, because they are the same room.
Festivals: the part Dutch gig-goers underestimate
A Dutch summer is festivals, and a festival is not one entry.
If you saw twelve acts at Pinkpop or Jera On Air, that is twelve shows — each with its own artist, its own stage, its own photo. It is the single biggest thing people get wrong, and it is why their yearly stats look thinner than their actual year.
The small ones are the point. The band you caught at three in the afternoon in a tent, whose name you nearly asked someone — that is the entry you will be glad about.
