Gathering — artist information
Watching a performance from Gathering feels like drifting through an atmospheric fog that periodically fractures into crushing, rhythmic intensity. The soundscapes swell with a melancholic weight, weaving ethereal vocal melodies against a backdrop of brooding, progressive tension. In a venue like Llandudno, the acoustics heighten this cinematic gloom, pulling the audience into a trance-like state of reflection. It is an immersive, cavernous experience where the boundary between delicate introspection and monolithic metal dissolution completely vanishes, leaving the room vibrating in perfect, haunting unison.
Genres: gothic metal, progressive metal, female fronted metal, female vocalists.
