Melting Batteries — artist information
The stage at Würzburg practically buckled under the weight of Melting Batteries, a sonic wrecking ball that trades polish for raw, jagged-edge intensity. They channel the grime of nineties grunge through a modern, high-voltage filter, delivering feedback-drenched riffs that feel like sandpaper against the eardrums in the best possible way. The audience is less a crowd and more a loose collective of devotees pulled into the undertow of shifting, rhythmic chaos. It is a loud, sweat-soaked communion where the speakers groan and the air turns thick with distortion.
Genres: rock, grunge.
