Open Beatz — Festival information

Tucked away in the rustic fields of Herzogenaurach, Open Beatz transforms the quiet expanse of the Poppenhof into a high-octane sanctuary for the harder styles of electronic music. The atmosphere here is thick with a kinetic, rebellious energy, fueled by a lineup that fearlessly pits the raw, industrial textures of Die Gebrüder Brett and Dr. Peacock against the propulsive, mainstage force of Ran-D. Fans don’t just attend this festival; they submerge themselves in a relentless sonic assault where the bass is felt in the marrow and the pyrotechnics turn the night sky into a frantic, neon-streaked backdrop. It serves as a vital pilgrimage for those who prefer their BPMs pushed to the absolute edge, cementing its reputation as a singular cultural collision point for Germany’s hardcore and hardstyle faithful. Far from a polished, commercial affair, Open Beatz thrives on a gritty, communal intensity that leaves the Poppenhof shaking long after the final kickdrum fades.
