Queens of Metal Open Air — Festival information
Deep in the Bavarian heartland, Queens of Metal Open Air isn't just another festival; it's a defiant roar against the mainstream, a pilgrimage for the purist. This annual gathering at Kleinwenkheim’s Alter Sportplatz unites a loyal legion under a banner of unadulterated, old-school heavy metal. Picture a landscape vibrating with the thunderous riffs of Bonded By Blood and the melodic power of Dream Evil, where the air hums with shared passion and denim-clad camaraderie. It's a raw, unpretentious celebration, eschewing corporate polish for genuine grit, a cultural touchstone for those who believe metal is more than music – it’s a way of life, forged in fire and solidarity.
