Festival Lineups 2027 So Far — Every Edition, Every Confirmed Act

Festival announcement season runs from October to January, and the first names for 2027 are already out. Most of what is circulating is a poster with four acts on it.

Here is what is actually in Gigvault right now, counted rather than estimated: thirteen 2027 editions, 147 named acts across 177 confirmed slots. Every edition is listed below — the ones with a full bill and the ones with one name on a poster — so you can see the whole picture, not the highlights.

All thirteen 2027 editions

Five of the thirteen carry a real bill. The other eight are a date and, at most, a headliner.

The five with a real bill

Summer Breeze is the furthest along by a distance: 62 acts including Electric Callboy, Children of Bodom, Hammerfall, Halestorm, Jinjer, Saltatio Mortis, Lord of the Lost, Eluveitie, Insomnium and Primal Fear. The 2027 edition already has more names than most festivals announce before Christmas.

Bloodstock is the biggest addition since early September: 42 acts, led by Mercyful Fate, Electric Callboy, Motionless In White, Acid Bath, Children of Bodom, DevilDriver, Hammerfall, Corrosion of Conformity, Dying Fetus, Dethklok and Pig Destroyer. It is the first UK festival for 2027 with a bill you can actually plan around.

Reload shares a striking amount of the Summer Breeze bill — Electric Callboy, Children of Bodom, Hammerfall, Jinjer, Saltatio Mortis, Clawfinger, Atreyu, Shadow of Intent and The Browning appear on both — alongside Heaven Shall Burn, Skindred, Spiritbox, Beast In Black and Eisbrecher. If you are choosing between Reload and Summer Breeze on lineup alone, you are choosing between two overlapping versions of the same week in August.

Emo's Not Dead Cruise is the outlier: 23 acts in January, on a boat out of Miami, with Yellowcard, Mayday Parade, Dance Gavin Dance, Silverstein, The Wonder Years, Enter Shikari, Don Broco, Saosin and Gym Class Heroes.

Tuska has 14 so far, and they are heavy: Judas Priest, Lorna Shore, Children of Bodom, Stratovarius, Danko Jones, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Gaerea and Kanonenfieber.

The acts already booked at three or more

Overlap is the most useful thing an early lineup tells you, because it shows who is touring festival season rather than playing one exclusive.

Another 17 acts are on exactly two bills — Lorna Shore (Impericon and Tuska), Motionless In White (Nova Rock and Bloodstock), Jinjer and Saltatio Mortis (Reload and Summer Breeze) among them. Children of Bodom on four festivals in one summer is the single clearest signal in the data: that is a full European festival run, not a one-off.

The eight that are a date and a headliner

Nova Rock has three names — Die Ärzte, Motionless In White, The Butcher Sisters. Eastcore Fest has two. Rock am Ring, Rock im Park and Rock for People each have one, and it is the same one: Blink-182, announced at all three. Impericon's one name is Lorna Shore. Tante Mia tanzt and La Bonne Aventure have a 2027 date and nothing else yet.

That is normal for September. It is also the reason a "2027 lineup" article you read elsewhere is mostly padding — there is not much to know yet, and anyone claiming otherwise is filling space.

What to do with an incomplete lineup

Two things, and neither requires the full bill.

Log last year's edition first. Every one of these festivals has a history in Gigvault — Rock im Park goes back to 2011 with fourteen editions, Summer Breeze to 2005, Nova Rock to 2009 — and reconstructing the ones you already went to is more valuable than speculating about the one you have not. The bill is right there; you only need to tick.

Follow the acts, not the poster. If you track the bands you care about, the announcement finds you. A festival poster is a marketing artefact released in fragments over four months; an artist page tells you where they are playing as it becomes known.

When the rest lands

Announcement waves for the big European festivals run through the autumn and into January, with the last slots often filled in spring. This page is updated as the editions fill — the last count was on 12 September 2026 — and the festival pages carry the current bill in between.
