Reading Rising — Festival information

Reading Rising isn't just another festival; it's a defiant roar from the heart of the UK's alternative music scene. This nascent powerhouse, nestled in Reading's iconic Sub89, is a sonic assault of metalcore, post-hardcore, and raw, untamed rock. Expect mosh pits that churn with an almost religious fervor, a sea of black t-shirts, and the cathartic release of shared screams. It's a vital platform for the next wave of heavy hitters like Dream State and Graphic Nature, solidifying Reading's place as a crucible for groundbreaking heavy music. This is where new anthems are forged and a community finds its voice, loud and unapologetic.
