Desperate Journalist — artist information

From the first abrasive chord, Desperate Journalist detonated a wall of post-punk defiance, each guitar shriek and bass throb a guttural release. The vocals, a spectral wail cutting through the shoegaze haze, pulled you into their melancholic orbit, a shared sigh of recognition rippling through the enraptured crowd. There was a raw, cathartic energy, a beautiful ache that left you both bruised and exhilarated, the air still vibrating with their defiant hum long after the last echo faded.

Genres: post-punk, indie, shoegaze, rock, indie rock.
