The Cords — artist information
The Cords tear through the air with a kinetic, reverb-drenched fuzz that feels like a transistor radio short-circuiting in a humid garage. Their sound is a breathless collision of sunshine-soaked melodies and serrated, jagged riffs that vibrate against the ribcage. In the dimly lit crush of the venue, the audience transforms into a swirling, sweat-slicked mass, caught in the undertow of razor-sharp percussion and melodic hooks. It is a raw, unpolished spectacle where nostalgia for the sixties meets the restless, jagged spirit of modern indie grit.
Genres: Garage Rock, 60s, indie pop, netherlands, indie.
